Director of Stewardship

Definition of Class This position directs and manages the stewardship program. The incumbent develops and implements strategies for stewarding principal gift prospects, creates stewardship plans for donors and prospects, plans and executes events to engage donors, and provides guidance and leadership to staff. Examples of Work Performed Establishes and manages the stewardship process for University Development. Collaborates with development officers to build, monitor, and support tailored stewardship plans for top prospects. Develops individual stewardship plans for specific donors. Plans and executes stewardship events to engage and cultivate prospects and donors. Works with development officers to establish stewardship opportunities for respective donors. Tracks and analyzes data to provide donors with impact reports detailing endowment funds. Reviews available fund balances for endowed funds to optimize goals and objectives. Organizes and participates in meetings with development leadership and college or unit leaders to review. Manages stewardship team, performance, and activity. Ensures donor recognition activities and stewardship initiatives are planned and executed efficiently. Evaluates and reports program effectiveness. Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned. Essential Functions These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Minimum Education/Experience Education:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field.ANDExperience:Four (4)years ofexperience related to the above described duties.Substitution Statement: Relatedexperience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
