Job Description:
In this position you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests within the restaurant and bar, performing opening/closing duties, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Other responsibilities include:
preparing necessary ingredients for the day, consistently maintaining knowledge of alcohol inventory, being a proactive team-player, and staying up to date regarding alcoholic beverage laws and policies.
About Us:
Located on the University of Mississippi campus off of Alumni Drive.
McCormick's is the only restaurant and bar located on a university campus in Mississippi.
McCormick's is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for guests of the Inn at Ole Miss as well as the general public.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience is not required, but is HIGHLY preferred.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FOOTBALL WEEKENDS.
Must have ServSafe Certification current or able to attain within 60 days.
According to Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Commission candidates must be 21 or older.
Other Information:
This position has an hourly wage of $8 an hour
tips.
Part-time position could develop into a full-time position depending on upcoming events within the restaurant, hotel, and the university.
